ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT AT BART DURHAM INJURY LAW

Responsible for a wide range of clerical and accounting assistance for both internal office and client escrow accounts. Processing accounts payables and receivables as needed. Maintaining accounting documents, records, and filing system. Preparing bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements. Preparing payroll information on a bi-monthly basis. Reviewing and processing employee expense reports. Evaluating, approving, and processing all client settlements.

INTAKE SPECIALIST AT BART DURHAM INJURY LAW

Handle all new inquiry calls and meet with clients to get preliminary case information. Set up new cases in our system and work with partner firms for any cases that are out of our realm of expertise.

INTERNSHIP WITH LAKE MARTIN VOICE REALTY

I created promotional materials for listings including videos, social media material, and update listing pages on the company’s website. While working Lake Martin Voice, I helped to build an app to show activities happening around Lake Martin, Ala. The app allows you to search for homes, restaurants, shops, marinas, or even fun things to do around the lake.

WISH GRANTER FOR MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION

When new children are nominated to have their wish granted, I meet with their families and help them work through the decision making process to determine their wish. After communicating their wish to the Middle Tennessee chapter of Make-A-Wish Foundation, I get to give the families and their children the news that their wish will be coming true.

SECRETARY OF NASHVILLE ALUMNI CHAPTER OF CHI OMEGA

I keep up with events and membership information for the chapter and send out the newsletter each month letting the chapter know about recent updates.

INTERNSHIP WITH SENATOR JEFF SESSIONS

Senator Sessions is the junior United States Senator from Alabama. I worked in Constituent Services for Senator Sessions’ office in Washington D.C. I also composed hearing notes for the legistaltive aids and gave tours to visitors from the state of Alabama.

AUBURN UNIVERSITY RECREATION AND WELLNESS CENTER

I worked as a Membership Specialist and as a Membership Supervisor working with Auburn University faculty, selling memberships, and giving tours of the new facility. I worked with the membership department from the opening of the new building in 2013 until graduation.

DIRECTOR OF HIGH SCHOOL RELATIONS FOR AUBURN UNIVERSITY DANCE MARATHON

I spoke at a number of high schools in the Auburn area about our local CMN Hospital and how they can make an impact. I had the wonderful opportunity to work with local high schools to organize their own dance marathons and raise funds to support our local Children’s Miracle Network hospital in Columbus, Ga.

MORALE CAPTAIN FOR AUBURN UNIVERSITY DANCE MARATHON

As a morale captain, my main duty was to keep energy high throughout the event and help where I was needed. I helped to organize events for the day of dance marathon, promoted registration and involvement of students across Auburn University’s campus, and raised funds for our local Children’s Miracle Network hospital.

CAPTAIN OF AU RHYTHM DANCE TROUPE

After 2 years on the team, I took on the role as captain. I choreographed and taught dances to a team of 30 Auburn students, cut music, and organized performances throughout the year.

PHILANTHROPY EVENT CHAIR FOR SOCIAL SORORITY

Greek Sing is an annual event benefiting Habitat for Humanity. I organized and taught 40 young women a dance for this philanthropic dance competition throughout the course of the spring 2014 semester.

PUBLIC RELATIONS COMMITTEE FOR SOCIAL SORORITY’S PHILANTHROPY

In 2012, our sorority held a weeklong event called Wish Week, benefiting Make-A-Wish Foundation. I handled the social media accounts promoting upcoming events and created promotional videos for each event.

CAMP COUNSELOR AT CAMP MASH

Camp MASH is a week-long recreational program for children ages 7 to 17 with a form of juvenile arthritis or a related auto-immune disease. I was a counselor, along with three other leaders, for 13-year-old age group.

ZOE’S KITCHEN

In Mobile, Ala., I worked in a cashier position taking orders, waiting on tables, and catered events. We also cleaned the restaurant and made sure it was always presentable.

SHADES SUNGLASSES

I worked in different locations including Spanish Fort, Gulf Shores, and the Wharf. I was a sales associate responsible for organizing and selling multiple brands of sunglasses, accessories, and specialty clothing.
